It is no longer a news that our economy is nosing down as a result of our mono economy structure we are running (Oil dependent economy).

For ages Federal Government is fond of mere pronouncements of economic diversification without implementation.

Now is the real time for diversification in our economic systems as it is necessitated by circumstances not by wilful decision.

There is no doubt that our country's economy is technologically driven but the the issue is that the technology in question are imported, for us to have a complete technology driven Nigeria we must be able to use the available world class technology to recreate the ones we needed.

It might interest you to know that the most elementary writing tool that everyone must use even at our primary education level is imported "PENCIL"

NOW LET US ASK OURSELVES THESE QUESTIONS
1. Is it that as a country, we do not have what it takes to produce it?
2. Is it that our tertiary institutions are not capable to train the manpower required to do this
3. Is it a financial incapacitating issues
4. Is it oversight and negligence (thinking pencil and other like things a is a minor)

Do you have answers or contributions to these questions?
